MitteLounge is Mittelfest chill event: an aperitif space combining music and conviviality. On two evenings, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 July, from 19.30 until sunset, two bands will perform to amaze the audience in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything takes place in the enchanting Ursulines’ Garden, a charming garden just a stone’s throw from Santa Maria in Valle Monastery and the Longobard Temple. This green space, rich in history and charm, offers the ideal setting to enjoy good music and pleasant conversations during the summer evenings of the festival.

Musike senza confini

Two instruments, violin and accordion, that blend and intertwine, sometimes poignant, sometimes delicate. Francesca Koka and Nicola Milan range from classical scores to modern pieces, from film music to a totally new repertoire composed and arranged for this ensemble. Virtuosity and elegance characterise this duo, which combines original pieces and music by composers such as Piazzolla and Galliano in an enthralling crescendo of emotions. Anecdotes, curiosities and amusing introductions make the concert pleasantly informative.

There is something that links the humidity of Natisone and Isonzo valleys with the dust of the slums of São Paulo and Buenos Aires. A vibration, rhythmically rising in the air from our eastern borders. From rivers to streams, passing synagogues and abandoned cemeteries, down the Balkan ridge towards the Mediterranean, under the shadow of the ashes of Smyrna, until you lose your footsteps inside the forests of Brazil and find the well-deserved rest among the echoes of the cumbia under the skies of Latin America: this is the journey on the pulsating rhythms of the world.
