MitteLounge is Mittelfest chill-out event: an aperitif venue that combines music and conviviality. Over four evenings, from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 July, from 19:30 until sunset, two bands will perform each evening to entertain the audience in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything takes place in the enchanting Orto delle Orsoline, a charming garden just a stone’s throw from Santa Maria in Valle Monastery and the Longobard Temple. This green space, rich in history and charm, offers the ideal setting to enjoy good music and pleasant conversations during the summer evenings of the festival.

I’m in

A one-man band formed in the province of Udine in the summer of 2023. It draws its inspiration from Washington DC punk and the chaotic style of Primus. I’m in is not one but three: a heavily distorted bass, a pedal drum kit and a voice crammed in a guitar amp. Turn up the volume, add some synth sounds and a few sweaty T-shirts, and you’ll get a sonicherd ready to rile you up. His songs recount episodes of everyday life, the loss of self, the acceptance of the surrounding society and all the compromises that keep it going.

GUSHI E RAFFUNK feat Mirko Cisilino

The sonic alchemy of Gushi & Raffunk, their refined electronic exploration, characterised by deep basslines, hypnotic rhythmic patterns and ambient textures that draw on world music and improvisation, meets Mirko Cisilino’s trumpet and his jazz sensibility. The live performance transforms into a continuous flow, a contemporary ritual of light and shadow in which electronics, improvisation and narrative suggestion create cinematic atmospheres, suspended between deep listening and surrender to the rhythm.
