Teatri di guerra (Theatres of War) stems from the podcast of the same name created by Enrico Baraldi and Graziano Graziani for RAI Radio 3. Since February 2022, Ukraine has been fighting due to Russia’s invasion: civilian life has suddenly become a life of war. And the theatre? With this question Baraldi, first alone and then with Graziani, travelled across the country from west to east and from north to south, collecting testimonies of how theatre has spread in response to the conflict. The authors share the outcome of their work, staged live for the first time at Mittelfest.
