A party where a cry for help slowly creeps in. Twelve hands grasping, missing their mark, striking, probing, riding and plucking guitar strings: Hold Your Horses is a dance concert, a fusion of music and movement, exploring our need for security, which speaks of the desire to hold on to something in a world that is becoming increasingly frightening. ‘Hold your horses’ is an expression meaning “calm, don’t be reckless”. How can one hold on whilst reality gallops on?
