Marco D’Agostin has created a secular, pop-inspired tribute to Nigel Charnock, the dancer and choreographer who passed away in 2012. ‘Best regards‘ is the letter D’Agostin writes to someone who will never reply. It is an invitation to sing together a nostalgia that concerns us all – those of us who did not arrive in time to say what we wanted to say. In the shadow of time running out, and under the light that Nigel continues to cast upon the stage, D’Agostin unfolds a blank sheet of paper before our eyes and asks us: How does one begin an impossible letter?
