Serena Sinigaglia with Ariella Reggio, Maria Ariis and Lucia Limonta bring to the stage Storia di Argo (History of Argos) by Mariagrazia Ciani, “a book that gets to your heart, because everyone in life can meet Argos, that dog that reminds you of who you are and where you come from.” A renowned writer and translator, Mariagrazia Ciani experienced the Istrian exodus as a child and delicately recounts it through her separation from her dog York. York like Argos, Ulysses’ dog, is a symbol of waiting and faithfulness. An intimate and human exchange between a grandmother, who experienced the exodus, a mother, who knows it from stories, and a daughter, who knows nothing about it.
