All in the dark. If sight is deceptive, the only way to face Medusa without being turned to stone is to set aside physical sight and tap into a deeper inner vision. A concert taking place in total darkness, where the hall, devoid of visual cues, becomes Perseus’ labyrinth. In this abyss, a cello quartet guides us through the landscapes of fear, from Haydn to Schumann, via Bach, Schubert and Tchaikovsky, in a sound challenge against the Gorgon to exorcise our terrors. And in the end, there shall be light.
