The Mittelyoung 2026 Open Call is now open, the festival dedicated to the new generations of the European scene. From December 11, 2025, to February 10, 2026, young artists, companies, and collectives under 30 from 27 countries in the Central European and Balkan area can submit their projects in theatre, music, dance, and circus for the 2026 theme: Fear.
Applications can be fully submitted online.
Projects will be evaluated by a group of curatores under 30, in collaboration with cultural and artistic institutions in Italy and abroad. From the submitted proposals, 9 performances will be selected to be staged in Cividale del Friuli from May 14 to 17, 2026 for the sixth edition of Mittelyoung.
This is an opportunity to become part of a new generation on stage, gain international visibility, and experience a dynamic and creative festival.
