Imagine looking at the sea: before you there is only the infinite blue shimmering under the sun. Radar allows us to go beyond the limits of our sight, to extend our gaze beyond the blue, beyond the horizon. Suddenly, a bright dot appears on the screen: it reveals distant obstacles, helps us pick up weak or complex signals and offers us a map to guide our way. A vertical dance performance that is an emotional radar, for sensible routes in an unpredictable world. ‘Seeing’ also means discovering what is not readily perceptible. A vertigo of the gaze.
