‘Nove stare zgodbe’ – ‘new old stories’ – explores the allure of oral tradition, folk music, tales and ballads from the Slovenian and German cultural heritage. Major universal themes – love, war, poverty, death – take the audience on a journey through time amidst the sounds of our ancestors. Duplina take us on a journey through music and narration that connects us with our inner world, uniting us with those who experienced the same fears many generations ago.

AUTHENTICITY

The friendship of banjo and accordion tells authentic feelings. Happiness, first love, the purity of water, the scents of the forest. And the voices of Jonas and Gorazd amplify the sound on a peaceful evening of folk singing.
