Exploring the relationship between sound and space, Strijbos & Van Rijswijk – already guests in 2021 with Signal in Forum Iulii – have devised a new site-specific performance, Tempo rubato – Walk with me, a sound project in the form of an app that can be enjoyed from the comfort of your smartphone. In walkscape, nature, music and narrative voice mix and overlap with the sounds of the surrounding environment through real-time sound processing. Each spectator, walking through the streets of Cividale del Friuli with a smartphone and headphones, following the directions of the app, builds a personal sound story, freely choosing their own ending.

Italian premiere

The duration is chosen by the spectator, up to a maximum of 90 minutes
Itinerant show, each spectator composes their own route based on the possible stages
