Proper Mess + Pyrodise, presented here together, explore the wonders and dangers of circus art and vertical dance. In Proper Mess, the two protagonists, Mr Proper and Miss Mess, on an imposing aerial tripod five meters high, compete with each other to capture the audience’s attention, using fire circles, ropes and hula hoops. In Pyrodise, a tribute to Linda Farkas, the dancer and choreographer who founded the Magma Fire Theatre, through synchronisedchoreography, pyrotechnic tricks and careful costume work, the legacy of this extraordinary artist is retraced.
