Premio Adelaide Ristori 2023 

Over two hundred years ago, on 29 January 1822, Cividale del Friuli saw the birth of one of the most important women of European and western theatre in the 19th century: Adelaide Ristori. To the “great actress”, who bewitched audiences halfway around the world, the Soroptimist International d’Italia – Club Cividale del Friuli has annually dedicated since 1998 the prize of the same name, destined for the best artist of the previous edition of Mittelfest.  
In 2023 the Adelaide Ristori Prize goes to Eva Luna Betelli, acrobat and actress, whose training and activity moves between circus – her discipline of origin – and theatre. In 2022 she starred in the show La singolarità di Schwarzschild (The Singularity of Schwarzschild), in which she staged the story of the same name by Benjamin Labatut inside a large self-propelled circle.
