Forum Associazione Mitteleuropa 
From Veszprém 2023 to GO!2025 

For the past two years, alongside Mittelfest rich programme of theatre, music, dance and circus performances, Associazione Mitteleuropa has taken on the task of organising also an important event of institutional friendship. Since Mittelfest is the most important cultural festival for Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Associazione Mitteleuropa enhances and strengthens its historical mission and international scope, with a forum of dialogues and meetings between Friuli Venezia Giulia and foreign countries, confirming the special relations of this region with countries that are close to it in terms of geography, history and culture.  
In 2021, the special guest was Slovenia, with the honour of the presence of the President of the Republic Borut Pahor. In 2022 it was the turn of Austria, with the presence of federal parliamentarians and government representatives from the neighbouring Land of Carinthia. In 2023, since the beautiful city of Veszprém is the European Capital of Culture 2023, this special event will be dedicated to Hungary.
